Throughout the history of Nicaragua it was afflicted by a series of conflicts, civil wars, revolutions, and foreign interventions. Husband and wife team, Ileana del Socorro Aleman Maltez and Donaldo Rocha Lopez not too long ago opened a tiny shop in lovely Catarina, a quaint village overlooking Lago Apoyo outside of Masaya, Nicaragua.
